This local charity is leading the conservation and wise use of British Columbia’s fish, wildlife, and habitat.

Their mission is to protect, enhance, and promote the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations.

By doing this, they ensure public access to recreational and outdoor activities, fish and wildlife resources, and crowned land.

Moreover, they provide science-based for their members and other stakeholders in B.C. The Wildlife Federation enforces its three core values of stewardship, education and research, and partnerships in every aspect of its charitable works.

Their stewardship involves advocation for public interest in natural resources, the insurance of integrity, respect, and transparency in all BCWF activities, and lastly, being clear on the outcomes and rationale for the BCWF actions.

The B.C. Wildlife Federation provides science-based resolutions for environmental issues in B.C., they support conservation and education, and they provide professional advice to those interested in conservation.

Also, the federation partners with local Indigenous communities and government agencies to reach their shared goals of conservation and the “promotion of the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations”.

The ND Social Justice class urges you to donate to this wonderful organization and help save local wildlife.
