It was a crisp Friday afternoon at Towns Field stadium in Coquitlam, and Notre Dame ended up winning the coin toss and chose to receive the ball first.
Notre Dame pushed the ball all the way to the 50 where they were stopped by Terry Fox’s defence. Terry Fox now had the ball and was looking to put up points on the board early, and they did. With a TD on their first drive, the Ravens went out in front 8-0 in the first.
It didn’t take long for Notre Dame to get back those points, and with ease drove the ball all the way down into the end zone to tie up the game 8-8. They followed that TD up with another one just before the first quarter ended – it was 15-8.
As the 2nd quarter started, it was Notre Dame’s game to win. The Jugglers ended up scoring another touchdown before the end of the half, making the score now 22-8 going into the third quarter.
When the third quarter started, the Jugglers were looking to stop the eagles and expand their lead. They ended up doing exactly that. Notre Dame shut down the Eagles and forced them to punt, they would later capitalize off this and score off a 50 yard touchdown pass down the sideline.
That made the score 30-8 after another 2 point conversion.
The 4th quarter was pretty much a draw and the final score was 30-14 for the Notre Dame Jugglers.Â
Next up – the Quarter Finals on Saturday, November 19th.
