The Varsity Field Hockey team, still undefeated, have earned their way to the league finals on Tuesday, November 1st.Â
Not even the pouring rain could stop the girls in the semi-finals, winning 2-0 in a shutout.

Some highlights of the game included some great individual performances, led by Chiara Holzer, who stepped it up this week in the last two games, including scoring a goal in the semi-finals.Â
Mackenzie Mills, who has been a shining star the entire season, scored the second goal.
Hannah Enns was amazing on defence with her signature sweep to clear the ball, working time and again.
Kaitlyn Roed, Alivia Sabellico, and Sam Garcea, who manage to be everywhere on the field, and playing all positions when the situation arises, ensured a Notre Dame victory.Â
Finally, goalie, Isabel Dente had some amazing saves, which is even more impressive when you take into consideration the heavy equipment plus all the rain waterlogging that equipment, making it even more cumbersome.

It’s a team game, and this is a team that works together and steps up for each other. All players deserve high praise.
The finals are set for Tuesday out at UBC (Wright Field) at 3:45pm – come out and cheer on the girls, they would greatly appreciate it.
