Needs for Night Shift is collecting unused hygiene items, specific non-perishable foods and lightly used summer clothing for adult men and women (no children’s clothing) from May 2nd – May 6th.

Night Shift may be unfamiliar to many of us, but it is essentially a downtown homeless shelter for specifically men and women. Children are not included.

The Social Justice 12 classes, led by Ms. McTague, advocates for charitable, philanthropic works of kindness and generosity. They urge the ND student body to donate as much as they can, no matter how great or small the donation.

In return, the winning class who brings in the most items will be awarded a free dress down day on Friday, May 6th (sounds enticing, because it is). This weekend and during the week, take the time to consider what you do not need and what you are willing to give.
