The Observer is seeking anyone who will be in grades 10, 11, and 12 this coming September 2021 to be a part of a great team. You can join and contribute in many ways, including:
- Writer [ND News, Sports, Opinion]
- Jr. Editor
- Photographer
- Cartoonist
- Social Media
If you are interested in any of these specific roles, or something else, please come see me (Mr. DiDonato) sometime before this current school year ends.
Role Descriptions
Writers: will be asked to write a minimum of two (2) articles each month; will brainstorm ideas consistently and ensure all Notre Dame news is reported on with balance and integrity.
Jr. Editors: will be asked to work with the writers, and peer review all articles prior to Sr. Editors making final edits.
Photographer: will be asked to capture the daily lives of Jugglers throughout the year. Photographers will also be asked to attend ND events (sports, band, plays etc.) to capture digital images of each event.
Cartoonist: will be asked to create a monthly cartoon (political or other) that represents the student body and the school. Must have a strong background in art/drawing.
Social Media Rep: will be asked to run the Observer Instagram account.
